Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Cloud Engineer, based in Huntsville, AL, or Dayton, OH. The Cloud Engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure while implementing scalable and secure solutions. Key responsibilities include configuring and managing cloud computing platforms, developing and deploying software applications, managing databases, and ensuring system reliability. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and enhance system performance.

Start Date: On or after June 5th, 2026
Expected Salary: $110K-$180K
Potential Sign on Bonus: $10k

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- US citizenship active TS/SCI clearance
- Must possess an IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+).
Required Experience:
- Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of Cloud-based technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Scripting: Experience utilizing PowerShell for automation or administration.
- Ticket Management: Efficiently resolves help desk tickets using Jira Service Management (JSM) in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Cloud Certifications: Fundamental AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher.
- Advanced Security Credentials: Active IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or SecurityX).
- Atlassian Administration: * Proven experience administering Jira and Confluence, including user management, workflow configuration, and plugin implementation.
- Possesses a combination of practical Jira administration experience and formal Atlassian Jira Administrator training.
