Job Description :
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in infrastructure automation, Terraform, and cloud platform management, with a strong DevOps mindset focused on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- You will play a key role in designing and automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment processes, and driving collaboration between development and operations teams.
As a proactive team player, you will:
- Maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation best practices using Terraform.
- Work autonomously while engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver robust platform solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring system efficiency and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Batch, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.) and optimize resource utilization.
- CI/CD: Design, implement, and manage pipelines using GitLab to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Collaboration: Partner with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into production.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability through autoscaling, optimized compute sizing, and proactive alerting.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure automation.
- Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, promoting DevOps best practices.
- Growth & Learning: Work in a supportive environment that fosters training, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Project Ownership: Take full ownership of infrastructure projects from design to delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Platform Engineering: Enhance and support existing platform capabilities to meet evolving business requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Experience: 8+ years in DevOps, AWS Security Engineering, or related roles.
- Terraform Expertise: Hands-on experience with advanced Terraform usage, including Functions, State Management Tweaks, Loops, Dynamic Blocks, and Reusable Modules.
- Linux & Scripting: Strong background in Linux administration and Bash scripting.
- Packer Experience: Proficiency with Packer for Docker image creation and environment provisioning.
- AWS Proficiency: Deep hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Batch, API Gateway, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Security Groups, SNS, SQS, RDS, etc.).
- CI/CD Frameworks: Strong understanding of test-driven CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools.
- Scripting Languages: Skilled in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, and similar monitoring/logging tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; capable of independent ownership and delivery.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
