Infrastructure & Cloud Operations (35%)
· Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
· Support provisioning and configuration of servers, networks, and storage
· Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
· Participate in capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives
· Ensure high availability and disaster recovery best practices are followed
CI/CD & Automation (30%)
· Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
· Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates)
· Support containerized deployments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
· Reduce manual processes through scripting and automation
System Reliability & Monitoring (15%)
· Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)
· Assist in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
· Ensure system security, patching, and vulnerability remediation
· Help maintain backup and recovery strategies
Collaboration & Support (10%)
· Work closely with developers to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues
· Collaborate with QA, Security, and Network teams to ensure smooth releases
· Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
· Document procedures, configurations, and operational runbooks
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills
· Hands-on experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu/CentOS)
· Basic to intermediate experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
· Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments
· Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
· Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
· Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers)
Experience:
· 2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Systems Engineering roles
· Experience working in agile or DevOps-driven environments
· Exposure to production systems and live deployments
· Experience supporting applications across development, staging, and production environments
