The Journey You’ll Embark On
In this role, you aren’t just "maintaining servers"—you are the architect of our digital reliability. You will:
- Guardian of Stability: Take the lead in keeping our production environments healthy. You’ll be the hero who responds to alerts, resolves incidents, and helps us learn through thoughtful post-mortems.
- Global Cloud Architect: Design and manage our multi-region AWS world. You'll ensure our resources are organized, secure, and ready to scale across the globe.
- Kubernetes Master: Take care of our EKS clusters. You’ll handle upgrades and daily operations, making sure our services evolve smoothly without our users even noticing.
- GitOps & CI/CD Pioneer: Orchestrate our deployment magic using Tekton and ArgoCD. You’ll help us maintain a high-standard GitOps workflow and Helm Chart specs so our developers can ship code with confidence.
- Edge & Network Specialist: Manage our "front door" using CloudFront and Cloudflare, ensuring our global connectivity is fast and secure.
- Data & Middleware Support: Keep our databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.) running at peak performance through smart capacity planning and version upgrades.
- Observability Expert: Build and fine-tune our "eyes and ears"—Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty—so we always stay one step ahead of potential issues.
We’d Love to Chat if You Have...
- Around 3+ years of experience in a Cloud-Native or SRE environment (we value your hands-on journey).
- A friendly familiarity with AWS core services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.) and their real-world applications.
- Confidence in Kubernetes—you know your way around Pods, Nodes, and Ingress, and you enjoy writing clean Helm templates.
- Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps—you love the idea of "everything as code."
- A solid understanding of Linux and Networking (TCP, DNS, HTTPS, TLS).
- The ability to script in Python, Go, or Shell to make life easier through automation.
- A "Calm under Pressure" Mindset: When things get tricky, you focus on "stopping the bleed" first, then finding the root cause.
- The Heart of a Teacher: You enjoy documenting your findings (SOPs) and sharing knowledge with the team.
Bonus Points (We'd be extra excited!)
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio) or API Gateways (APISIX).
- A passion for fine-tuning Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards.
- Familiarity with logging stacks (ELK, Loki) or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with Multi-cloud (GCP/Azure) or large-scale clusters.
- AI Enthusiast: You use AI tools to boost your daily workflow.
