Job Title :- DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes - On Prem)

Key Responsibilities
Kubernetes Migration
- Lead migration of existing applications (stateless & stateful) from standalone containers to Kubernetes
- Design and implement scalable, resilient Kubernetes architectures
- Manage storage, networking, and lifecycle of workloads
Automation & Configuration Management
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation
- Ensure consistency, repeatability, and reliability across environments
Platform Engineering
- Develop reusable Helm charts for standardized deployments
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or similar)
- Enable developer self-service by creating platform best practices
Infrastructure as Code
- Manage infrastructure provisioning and environment state
- Work with tools like Terraform (good to have) and Ansible
Observability & Reliability
- Own monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Implement solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/ELK stack
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) including:
- Networking, storage, and cluster lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with Ansible automation
- Advanced proficiency in Linux (CLI, troubleshooting, performance tuning)
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools
Good to Have
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
- Exposure to bare-metal or on-prem infrastructure
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio)
- Experience in high-growth or startup environments
