Job Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process.
- Develop scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Cloud Management:
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining system performance and scalability.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Foster a DevOps culture across the organization by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Security Implementation:
- Ensure robust security practices, including implementing firewalls, monitoring, and data encryption.
- Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in DevOps or related engineering roles.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent cloud certifications.
- Kubernetes Administrator Certification (CKA).
Remuneration
- Base Salary: QAR 180,000–QAR 240,000 annually (based on experience and market trends for 2025).
