About the Role
We're looking for a curious, hands-on DevOps Intern to support our cloud and CI/CD operations while learning from experienced engineers. You'll work alongside our senior team on real production systems powering our AI-native SaaS products. This is a learning role with structured mentorship ideal if you want to build a career in cloud and platform engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) under supervision
- Support CI/CD pipeline upkeep builds, deployments, and basic troubleshooting
- Help configure and maintain monitoring dashboards (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Write and improve automation scripts in Python or Bash
- Document infrastructure, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Shadow senior engineers during incident response and post-mortems
- Help with development environment setup and access provisioning for the engineering team
- Participate in code reviews from an infrastructure and reliability perspective
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix, basic networking, and Git
- Hands-on familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python or Bash preferred)
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) through coursework, certifications, or personal projects
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerization
- Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and document your work
Preferred
- Foundational cloud certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals)
- Personal projects or contributions involving CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Open-source contributions or active GitHub portfolio
