DevOps Engineer - Up to $300k + Equity
A fast-growing AI infrastructure startup serving the financial services sector is hiring DevOps Engineers to help build the backbone of an enterprise-grade platform handling highly sensitive data at scale.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for building secure, scalable infrastructure powering an AI-driven data platform used by sophisticated financial institutions.
The environment combines high-performance engineering with real-world complexity: large-scale data ingestion, private cloud deployments, strict governance requirements, low-latency systems, and infrastructure supporting modern LLM workloads.
This is a high-impact role where strong engineers can move quickly, own meaningful systems, and help shape the company’s technical foundation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building scalable infrastructure for AI-powered data products
- Supporting ingestion pipelines across structured and unstructured data sources
- Building secure private-cloud deployments with tenant isolation
- Implementing governance, permissions, auditability, and access controls
- Developing monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
- Partnering with AI / Research teams to optimise infrastructure for model training and inference
- Building internal platforms for agents, orchestration, and deployment workflows
- Owning CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code across multi-cloud environments
- Helping scale systems that process sensitive enterprise financial data in real time
What They’re Looking For
- 3–10 years in infrastructure, platform, SRE, DevOps, or backend systems engineering
- Strong cloud experience across AWS / GCP / Azure
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes / containers
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines / ETL systems
- Strong understanding of observability tooling (Datadog or similar)
- Security-minded engineer with experience in regulated or high-trust environments
- Comfortable working in startup pace with high ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI infrastructure (SageMaker, Bedrock, GPU workloads, inference platforms)
- Experience in fintech / banking / enterprise data environments
- Multi-cloud architecture experience
- Exposure to agentic systems / LLM infrastructure
- Strong CS fundamentals or pedigree engineering background
