Responsibilities within the role:
· Develop, implement and operate innovative Cloud solutions to our customers for the cloud platform
· Writing and maintaining clean, understandable code
· Writing clear, understandable engineering documentation such as operational run books
· Reviewing and contributing to peer review of code changes
· Active participation in sprint ceremonies
Specific skills and experience required:
· Proficient in AWS
· Experience with large scale cloud modernisations
· Experience developing and deploying landing zones and enterprise cloud platforms
· Good understanding of relevant technical areas;
Cloud Architecture
o DNS/AD/Route 53/Networking
o Automation and Deployment
o Configuration and Lifecycle management
o CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing and modern SDLC methodologies
o Code and infrastructure testing methodologies/tools
· Strong understanding of modern application architectures and their dependencies on the Cloud infrastructure platform
· Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills
