DevOps Intern
We’re looking for a motivated intern with strong fundamentals in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and containerized deployments. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to support scalable infrastructure and deployment workflows.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services)
- Familiarity with AWS services (preferred) or GCP
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of networking and system fundamentals
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python
Tech Stack
- Cloud: AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, SQS, SNS)
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- Monitoring: Datadog
- Systems: Linux environments
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (EKS)
- Work with Dockerized services and container workflows
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Support Helm-based Kubernetes deployments
- Assist with event-driven systems using SQS and SNS
- Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues using Datadog
- Debug and resolve issues in Linux-based environments
Good to Have
- Exposure to event-driven architectures
- Understanding of observability and monitoring concepts
- Hands-on cloud or DevOps projects
- Experience with Helm deployments
- Familiarity with Datadog or similar monitoring tools
