Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) on a contract basis. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be local to MST or PST time zones

Overview:
The DevOps Engineer will serve as a key technical resource supporting all phases of the DevOps and application development lifecycle. This role will focus heavily on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipeline optimization, cloud automation, and deployment strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code for mission-critical applications
- Must have 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFront
- Docker and Serverless Framework
- GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Terraform Cloud
- Linux and Bash scripting
- YAML
- Python and/or Node.js
