We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support automation, CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure deployment, and production operations within a collaborative enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation technologies. Experience in investment banking or financial services environments is a strong plus.
About the Role
The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operational processes through automation and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Automate software delivery and infrastructure provisioning processes.
- Manage infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
- Support source control, build automation, debugging, and release management activities.
- Monitor system performance, logging, alerting, and operational stability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment.
- Troubleshoot deployment and production issues across environments.
- Maintain containerized and cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in a collaborative software development environment.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Git and revision control systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- JFrog Artifactory
- Ansible
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with:
- Build automation
- Deployment automation
- Monitoring & alerting
- Log management
- Scripting
- Software testing & debugging
Preferred Skills
Investment banking experience is highly preferred.
Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in Charlotte, NC.
