Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable deployments across environments.
- Manage and optimise our cloud infrastructure on [e. g., AWS/GCP/Azure], with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Set up and maintain containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate environment provisioning.
- Collaborate with engineers to design deployment strategies and improve system observability.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Take a proactive role in security, backups, failover systems, and disaster recovery planning.
- Document DevOps processes and build internal tools or dashboards to simplify workflows.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration best practices.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc. ) and experience with Git workflows.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. ).
- A collaborative mindset - someone who works well across teams and communicates clearly.
Nice To Have
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Exposure to compliance or DevSecOps practices.
- Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Kubernetes) - not mandatory, but a bonus.
- Experience in fast-moving startups or mission-driven tech companies.
