Role Overview
The Senior Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing application support, incident management, platform stability, and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise integration systems hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to coordinate across client stakeholders, offshore/onshore teams, and engineering groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration support team for critical healthcare platform applications and services.
- Manage production support activities including incident management, problem management, RCA preparation, and service improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, status updates, escalations, and operational reviews.
- Monitor and support distributed microservices-based applications deployed on cloud infrastructure.
- Support and troubleshoot API integrations using Google Apigee API platform.
- Manage and support event-driven integrations using Confluent Kafka and Kafka ecosystems.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure platform stability and SLA adherence.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry operational and security standards.
- Mentor and guide support engineers and junior team members.
- Participate in release planning, deployment support, and environment management activities.
- Experience in API support, integration troubleshooting, and middleware operations.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools including Datadog.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps support processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience handling client interactions directly.
- Ability to lead support war rooms, manage escalations, and drive resolution across multiple teams.
