About Position:
We are seeking highly skilled SRE AWS DevOps professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-availability environments and are passionate about building resilient, scalable, and automated cloud solutions. What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and operate reliable, scalable, and secure production systems on AWS with strong focus on availability and performance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps) for automated build, test, security scanning, and deployments.
- Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS) and/or ECS; handle upgrades, scaling, and workload resiliency.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation; enforce standards via reusable modules and policy controls.
- Define and manage SRE practices: SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, incident response, postmortems (blameless), and continuous reliability improvements.
- Set up end-to-end monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog/New Relic (as applicable).
- Automate operational tasks using scripting (Bash/Python) and AWS-native automation (Lambda, Step Functions) to reduce toil.
- Lead incident management and RCA for critical issues; drive preventive actions and implement stability improvements.
- Ensure security best practices: IAM least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance (CIS benchmarks where relevant).
- Collaborate with application teams on release planning, performance testing, capacity planning, and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
- Participate in change management, release governance, and on-call rotations; maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Operations with strong hands-on background in production environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS core services: VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Route53, S3, RDS/Aurora, IAM, CloudWatch, EKS/ECS.
- Proven experience with CI/CD and release orchestration, including artifact management (Nexus/Artifactory/ECR) and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred): deployments, services/ingress, Helm, scaling, networking, troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, load balancing), and performance tuning.
- Strong skills in IaC (Terraform preferred) and configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet as applicable).
- Experience with observability and incident response: alert tuning, dashboards, log correlation, postmortem writing, and reliability metrics.
- Scripting and automation skills in Python/Bash, plus working knowledge of PowerShell is a plus.
- Experience with security tooling and practices: secrets (Vault/Secrets Manager), container image scanning, patching/remediation, IAM governance.
- Experience using ticketing/ITSM tools like ServiceNow/Jira, and working within ITIL/change management processes.
