We are seeking an AI Cloud Engineer to join a growing team focused on building and deploying next-generation AI-powered cloud solutions. This is a newly created, high-visibility position that will play a key role in shaping AI infrastructure and platform capabilities across the organization.
This role is ideal for a strong AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer who has recently expanded into Generative AI technologies and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is technically curious, adaptable, and excited to help scale AI-enabled applications in a regulated enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support cloud-based applications and infrastructure within AWS
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments for AI and Generative AI solutions
- Support deployment and operationalization of GenAI applications in cloud environments
- Work with AWS Bedrock and related AI services to enable AI-driven solutions
- Develop and manage containerized applications and infrastructure components
- Partner with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability
- Assist with infrastructure-as-code and cloud provisioning activities
- Support security, compliance, and operational best practices in a regulated environment
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment, and application performance issues
- Collaborate with technical leadership on platform strategy and architecture initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering or DevOps experience
- 2+ years of experience deploying or supporting Generative AI applications in cloud environments
- Experience with AWS Bedrock and AI/ML cloud services
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and application deployment
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small, highly visible team environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in regulated industries or highly regulated environments is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting AI platform infrastructure
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or related technologies
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices in cloud environments
- Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud deployments
