We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong AWS cloud infrastructure expertise to join a high-impact engineering team supporting scalable analytics and ML-driven environments. This role will focus on designing, provisioning, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure while partnering closely with Data Engineering, Decision Science, and Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud environments across compute, networking, data, and security
• Design and provision infrastructure using Terraform for analytical and ML workloads
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices
• Support observability initiatives including monitoring, logging, alerting, and SLOs
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive resolution efforts
• Implement cloud cost optimization and FinOps best practices
• Maintain AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and DNS
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and operationalize applications and data solutions
• Support scalable and automated data processing environments
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
• Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as GitLab or Airflow
• Strong understanding of AWS networking and IAM security best practices
• Experience with relational databases including MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
• Experience supporting large-scale data environments
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Terraform expertise including module development and state management
• AWS AI/ML services experience such as Bedrock or SageMaker
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Experience with Datadog, New Relic, or CloudWatch
• Snowflake and NoSQL database experience
• Exposure to Azure or GCP environments
• Experience supporting ML or data science workloads
