We're looking for a technically sharp engineer to join a pilot team building and maintaining the infrastructure behind an Incident Response Management (IRM) platform supporting a national-scale digital identity system.
This is an opportunity for a mid-level engineer to receive structured, hands-on mentorship from an SRE Lead and a Senior Tech Lead, while contributing to Tier-1 national infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Deploying and maintaining cloud-native services on Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm, with a strong emphasis on portability across environments
- Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines for automated, repeatable deployments
- Writing backend automation, custom tooling, and platform logic exclusively in Golang — this is a Go-centric team
- Developing frontend dashboard components in TypeScript (pnpm)
- Owning monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform health
- Contributing to sprint cycles, code reviews, and engineering governance through RFCs and ADRs
What we're looking for:
- Solid grounding in Linux, networking, and cloud-native architecture
- Hands-on or strong theoretical knowledge of Kubernetes and containers
- Golang proficiency is a must for all backend and systems work
- TypeScript/pnpm experience for frontend work
- A process-oriented mindset — you thrive in structured, documentation-heavy engineering environments
- Comfortable with on-call rotations and BAU operations
