DevOps Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in the Harness platform and modern cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring secure, reliable deployment processes across environments.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Harness platform (pipelines, deployments, configurations, governance, and security features)
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and management, including build, test, and deployment automation
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes:
- Core concepts: Autoscaling, RBAC, Pod scheduling/placement
- Advanced concepts: Karpenter, Service Mesh
- Strong experience with AWS services:
- CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, DynamoDB
- Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Terraform and Terragrunt (module creation is mandatory)
- AWS infrastructure provisioning
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell, PowerShell, or Python
- Hands-on experience with deployment automation and release orchestration
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Docker and containerization best practices
- Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools
- Exposure to SecDevOps practices (security integration in CI/CD pipelines)
- Awareness or working knowledge of AI tools / AI-driven DevOps optimizations
- Experience in defining automation playbooks for infrastructure and deployments
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Harness
- Develop reusable automation playbooks for deployments and infrastructure provisioning
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and standardization of deployment processes
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based environments
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform/Terragrunt
- Integrate security best practices into CI/CD workflows (SecDevOps)
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline delivery pipelines
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and deployments
