Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer I to help build, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure and deployment systems. You will work closely with software engineers to ensure reliable deployments, high system availability, and smooth development workflows.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and automation who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced fintech startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Support Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized applications running in production.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable deployments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance using observability tools.
- Automate routine operational and deployment tasks.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
- Assist in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
- Implement security and operational best practices across cloud infrastructure.
- Support cloud cost optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, and VPC.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Coralogix.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud security, and distributed systems.
Good to Have
- Experience working with microservices-based architectures.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or startup ecosystems.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
