Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices within a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong AWS expertise, Infrastructure as Code experience, and a proven ability to assess, mature, and optimize enterprise DevOps practices

This position will support a Salesforce-based environment, making prior experience working within Salesforce ecosystems highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
Assess existing DevOps processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Partner with Development, QA, Operations, and business teams to drive successful delivery outcomes.
Establish and promote DevOps standards, governance, and best practices.
Mentor team members and help mature the overall DevOps organization.

Required Skills

5+ years of DevOps engineering experience within AWS environments.
Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
Kubernetes administration and deployment experience.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify gaps, and help drive DevOps maturity and operational excellence.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting Salesforce environments.
Understanding of Salesforce deployment processes and platform-specific DevOps considerations.
Experience with Gearset for Salesforce code deployments.
Experience helping build or scale DevOps practices within enterprise organizations.
