Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale Pricing Transformation Engagement at FNMA in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure as code. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, and monitoring solutions to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release processes.
• Implement DevOps best practices, including automation, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.
• Manage environment configurations and ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git-based source control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
• Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or mortgage industry environments.
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator)
