Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable and hands-on DevSecOps Engineer to join a fast-paced project delivery environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and security integration across the software delivery lifecycle.
This role requires someone who is highly self-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating independently while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and security teams.
The candidate should be able to take ownership of deliverables, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and contribute across adjacent technical areas when required to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
Integrate security controls, scanning, and compliance checks into DevOps workflows
Manage cloud infrastructure and containerized environments
Support application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery practices
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern automation tools
Drive DevSecOps best practices, governance, and operational excellence
Monitor system reliability, performance, and security vulnerabilities
Support incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across deployment and security processes
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Candidates should have strong experience in most of the following areas:
DevOps / DevSecOps engineering experience in enterprise environments
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, etc.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Security integration tools such as:
SAST / DAST
Vulnerability scanning
Secrets management
Container security scanning
Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting
Monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
Version control systems such as Git
Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery environments
Preferred Experience
Experience in large-scale enterprise or government projects
Exposure to security compliance and governance frameworks
Experience working in high-availability production environments
Certifications in cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, or security are advantageous
