DevOps Engineer — Diigoo Tech
Location: Hyderabad (Madhapur) · On-site
Type: Full-time, starting with a 4-month provisional period
Reporting to: Founders / Senior Engineering
What this role actually is
Everything we build has to run somewhere, stay up, and deploy without drama. That's you.
We're an IT consulting and product-delivery company that also runs its own infrastructure - so your surface is genuinely wide. One week you're setting up CI/CD for a client's software, the next you're deploying ArthaChain nodes, and the week after you're managing distributed GPU compute across the NexaNet network. You'll own the pipelines, the cloud, the containers, the blockchain infra, and the uptime of all of it.
This is a hands-on, high-trust role. Infra mistakes cost real money and real downtime, so we're hiring someone early-career but genuinely capable - someone who's actually deployed things, broken things, and fixed them, not just watched tutorials. We'll grow your depth fast, but you need real fundamentals walking in.
If you're the kind of person who automates a task the second they have to do it twice, this is for you.
Roles and responsibilities
CI/CD pipelines
Build and maintain automated build, test, and deploy pipelines for both our client software and our own products. Make shipping fast, safe, and boring.
Cloud infrastructure (AWS & GCP)
Provision and manage our cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Own networking, compute, storage, and cost efficiency.
Containers and orchestration
Containerise applications with Docker and run them reliably on Kubernetes. Manage scaling, rollouts, and recovery.
Blockchain infrastructure
Deploy and maintain ArthaChain nodes and validators, and keep our consortium network healthy - uptime, upgrades, and node operations.
NexaNet distributed infrastructure
Help run NexaNet's distributed compute layer - managing GPU nodes, the connectivity layer, node provisioning, and keeping distributed capacity available and billable. This is a core, growing part of the role.
Monitoring and reliability
Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting. Own uptime, respond to incidents, and build the systems that catch problems before users do. Take on-call as you mature.
Secrets, IAM, and hardening
Manage secrets, access control, and infrastructure hardening - coordinating closely with the security team.
Automation
Automate everything that should be automated. If it's manual and repetitive, your instinct should be to script it away.
Must-haves (non-negotiable on day one)
These are the things we genuinely can't train around for an infra role:
Linux - you're comfortable on the command line and understand how a Linux system actually works.
Networking fundamentals - TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, firewalls. You can reason about how traffic flows.
A scripting language - Python or Bash, well enough to automate real tasks.
Cloud exposure - hands-on with AWS or GCP, even at a project or lab level. You know what EC2/compute, storage, and IAM are and have used them.
Containers - real, demonstrable Docker experience. You've built and run containers yourself.
Version control - Git, properly - branches, merges, the works.
Proof of work - personal projects, labs, college work, or open-source where you actually deployed and ran something. We need evidence you've done this, not just studied it.
Education - final-year or recent graduate in B.Tech / M.Tech (CSE / IT) or equivalent. Strong self-taught candidates with proof of work are equally welcome.
We don't expect mastery of Kubernetes, Terraform, or blockchain infra on day one - those we'll build. But the fundamentals above need to be real.
Nice-to-haves (these move you to the front of the queue)
Hands-on with Kubernetes (even Minikube / a home cluster counts).
Infrastructure as Code experience - Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD tools - GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
Monitoring stacks - Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
Any blockchain node / validator experience, or running infra for crypto/Web3 projects.
GPU / compute infrastructure experience - CUDA setups, GPU scheduling, ML infra.
Cloud certifications in progress - AWS / GCP Associate-level.
A homelab, a self-hosted setup, or a personal cloud project you can show off.
You'll probably fit if
You automate anything you have to do more than twice.
You're calm when something breaks and methodical about finding out why.
You read docs and changelogs for fun, and you have opinions about how things should be deployed.
You'd rather a system never go down than be a hero who fixes it at 3 AM.
You don't wait for permission to fix a fragile pipeline - you flag it and fix it.
Provisional period (includes training) — 4 months
Everyone starts with a structured 4-month provisional period. This is where you build the range the role demands across cloud, containers, and our own infrastructure.
Month 1 - Foundations. Environment setup, architecture walkthroughs, and tooling. Get comfortable with our cloud, repos, and deployment flow.
Month 2 - Pipelines and containers. Build and own a CI/CD pipeline and containerise a real service. Your first production deployment happens here, supervised.
Month 3 - Cloud and orchestration. Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, monitoring, and one supervised end-to-end deployment cycle.
Month 4 - Our infrastructure + capstone. Blockchain node ops and an intro to NexaNet's distributed compute. Deliver a capstone - own the deployment and monitoring of one real component end-to-end.
We measure your progress monthly and convert to full-time based on what you've built.
Compensation
Provisional period / training (4 months): ₹7,000 - ₹10,000 per month
Full-time (post-conversion): ₹3.5 LPA - ₹6 LPA
Top performers also earn equity participation, accelerated promotion paths, and meaningful trust placed on them early.
What you're walking into
Real ownership. From day one of training, you'll touch production infrastructure that real customers and products depend on.
A flat, fast-moving team. You'll work directly with founders and senior engineers, not through three layers of management.
Depth and breadth. You'll go deep on infra, but you'll also see how every other function works - the team is small enough that you have to.
Frontier infrastructure. You won't just run cloud servers - you'll help operate a consortium blockchain and a distributed GPU compute network. Very few early-career engineers get to touch this.
Long-term upside. Top performers see equity participation, accelerated promotion, and real trust placed on them early.
About us - the short version
We're a Hyderabad-headquartered technology company with two sides. We're an IT consulting and product-delivery firm - building software for businesses and delivering large-scale systems to government agencies through partner channels - and we build our own sovereign infrastructure: ArthaChain (our consortium blockchain), VOXLOR NEXUS (sovereign AGI infrastructure), and NexaNet (distributed compute and connectivity).
Our delivery work spans everything from healthcare systems to retail commerce platforms deployed across the United States.
"We're not your average startup. We're founder-led, Gen-Z, and building products that genuinely matter - for India, and for the world. If you want a job, we have those. If you want a craft, that's what we're really hiring for."
