About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Application Modernization engagements. This role requires a strong blend of delivery leadership, customer relationship management, people management, and technical oversight.
The Delivery Lead will be responsible for managing multiple customer engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, maintaining customer satisfaction, driving operational efficiencies, and building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Azure, DevOps practices, Kubernetes, and modern application architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Application Modernization engagements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality and customer expectations.
- Establish delivery governance, manage risks, dependencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and act as the primary delivery escalation point.
- Conduct governance reviews and ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Solution Architects during project planning and execution.
Technical Oversight
- Provide delivery oversight for Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, Infrastructure, Security, and Application Modernization initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to architecture, security, operational, and delivery best practices.
- Support teams in resolving critical delivery and technical challenges.
People & Resource Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop delivery teams comprising project managers, technical leads, consultants, and engineers.
- Manage resource planning, utilization, capacity forecasting, and skill development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of overall IT industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, or Practice Leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing multiple enterprise customer engagements simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in delivering cloud transformation, application modernization, infrastructure, and managed services projects.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams comprising architects, consultants, developers, DevOps engineers, and support teams.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Identity, Integration, Databases, and Platform Services.
- Experience overseeing Azure-based solutions leveraging PaaS, container platforms, application integration, monitoring, and cloud governance capabilities.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, source control management, release management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Bicep, and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization, Kubernetes, microservices, API-driven applications, and modernization strategies.
- Familiarity with application migration, rehosting, replatforming, and modernization approaches.
Leadership & Management Skills
- Strong delivery and program management capabilities.
- Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
