Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and cost-efficient Cloud solutions that enable enterprise technology initiatives.
- Lead Cloud architecture, automation, governance, security, and operational excellence across public, private, and hybrid environments while ensuring reliability, compliance, and business continuity.
- Design and maintain secure, highly-available Cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments.
- Develop Cloud architecture standards, adoption strategies, and migration plans aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate workloads and determine optimal hosting models across Cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Create disaster recovery and business continuity solutions that meet recovery time and recovery point objectives.
- Deploy, configure, and support infrastructure, platform, and software services across Cloud ecosystems.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using modern automation and configuration management tools.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency.
- Implement Cloud security controls including identity management, encryption, network segmentation, and access governance.
- Partner with security, risk, and compliance teams to support regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions across Cloud and on-premises environments.
- Analyze resource consumption and optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and Cloud spending.
- Create and enforce Cloud governance standards, landing zone designs, tagging frameworks, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud engineering, Cloud architecture, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud platform including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience designing and supporting hybrid Cloud and multi-Cloud environments.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as code and automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Cloud networking, identity management, security controls, and governance frameworks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, BASH, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
Preferred
- Cloud certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
