Delivery Manager (8–10+ Years Experience)

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Delivery Manager with extensive experience in GitLab Ultimate On-Premises deployments, High Availability (HA) architectures, Disaster Recovery (DR), and large-scale SVN-to-GitLab migrations. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise DevSecOps platforms while enabling secure and automated software delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and administer GitLab Ultimate On-Premises environments.
- Implement and manage highly available GitLab architectures, including PostgreSQL HA, Redis HA, Gitaly Clusters, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Plan and execute end-to-end SVN-to-GitLab migrations while preserving repository history, branches, tags, user mappings, and audit trails.
- Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Integrate security controls such as SAST, DAST, Dependency Scanning, Container Scanning, Secret Detection, and License Compliance.
- Manage GitLab upgrades, maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational support.
- Establish governance, repository standards, branching strategies, and access control policies.
- Support enterprise integrations including LDAP/Active Directory, SSO, SMTP, and monitoring platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture guidance, and knowledge transfer to engineering teams.
Required Skills
- 8–10+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Source Code Management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with GitLab Ultimate On-Premises.
- Strong expertise in GitLab High Availability architecture and enterprise deployments.
- Proven experience migrating SVN repositories to GitLab.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository management.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Python/Shell scripting.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, Redis, load balancing technologies (HAProxy/NGINX), and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience implementing Secure SDLC practices and CI/CD security controls.
- Preferred Qualifications
- GitLab Certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with GitLab Geo and advanced Disaster Recovery architectures.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale DevSecOps transformation programs.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as BFSI, Healthcare, Defense, Aerospace, or Government.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Additional Skills / Awareness
- Working knowledge of other DevSecOps, DevOps, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and similar enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD ecosystems, artifact management tools, and release orchestration frameworks.
- Awareness of observability stacks, including logging, monitoring, tracing, and AIOps platforms.

A hands-on DevSecOps leader who can independently architect and manage GitLab enterprise environments, execute complex migration initiatives, implement secure CI/CD practices, and drive DevSecOps adoption across large development organizations.
The candidate is also expected to be adaptable, collaborative, and able to perform other duties as required in support of project delivery, platform stability, and continuous improvement initiatives across customer environments.
