Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fractional Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure, based in New York, NY. The selected candidate will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring optimized performance and security. Day-to-day tasks include supporting software development initiatives, managing cloud environments, maintaining robust infrastructure, and configuring Linux systems and databases. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows and align architecture with business objectives. This hybrid role allows for a combination of on-site and remote work.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Software Development with a focus on cloud-native applications.
- Experience with designing and maintaining Cloud Computing environments, particularly on Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure management, including deployment and monitoring of scalable systems.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems for deployment, management, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Hands-on experience managing Databases, including setup, optimization, and ensuring data integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator) are a plus.
