Digital Consultants seeks a Cloud Engineer I to support the United States Army West Desert Test Center (WDTC) Data Science Division (DSD) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), Utah. The Cloud Engineer I supports Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) operations through infrastructure support, storage and virtualization services, directory and authentication services, cybersecurity compliance activities, and enterprise operations support. The position assists in maintaining secure, reliable, and available computing environments in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and WDTC requirements.

Duties To Include
- Support Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) operations.
- Support directory and authentication services.
- Support storage and virtualization services.
- Support Windows Server and enterprise operating system environments.
- Support virtualization technologies and virtualized computing environments.
- Support enterprise storage platforms and associated infrastructure services.
- Support directory services, identity management, and authentication services.
- Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems and equipment.
- Support implementation of cybersecurity requirements and security controls.
- Support system authorization and information assurance activities.
- Assist with development and maintenance of system documentation and artifacts.
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) requirements.
- Support implementation and maintenance of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and security configurations.
- Monitor system performance and operational status.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information systems operations.
- Assist with configuration management and Configuration Control Board (CCB) requirements.
- Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to maintain operational readiness.
- Support continuity of operations and mission requirements.
- Provide technical support for WDTC testing and operational activities.
Requirements
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Must possess a Tier 3 (T3/T3R) or higher investigation. Personnel assigned duties involving the administration of classified systems/networks or designated critical-sensitive or special-sensitive positions must meet applicable Tier 5 (T5/T5R) investigation and SCI eligibility requirements.
- Certifications: Current IAT Level II qualification.
- one qualifying baseline certification such as GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, CND, GCIH, GCED, or CASP CE.
- Minimum one qualifying Computing Environment certification such as RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (Server Tracks), MCSA (Server Tracks), MCSE (Server Tracks), MCTS (Server Tracks), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), VMware Certified Implementation Expert (VCIX), VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX), EMC Specialist (or higher), or other relevant computing environment certification.
- Education: HS Diploma
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting Directory and Authentication Services, Storage and Virtualization Services, and Operations Support functions.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following technologies: EMC, SharePoint, Citrix, VMware, Windows Server, or Red Hat Linux.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and software required to perform assigned duties.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to travel to other worksites as required and with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to sit, stand, use computers and monitors, and perform duties in an office environment for extended periods. The candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion (e.g., moving a case of paper or similar task) that may occur occasionally.
