Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Cloud Platform Engineer
Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 18-Month Contract
Rate: $65-$67/hour W2
Overview
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or Cloud Platform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role will focus on infrastructure as code, cloud platform operations, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based services.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
- Automate operational processes through scripting and configuration management tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and platform reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve scalability, availability, and performance of cloud services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and platform-related issues.
- Participate in operational support, incident response, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or DevOps Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Terraform Enterprise for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, Ansible, Python, or similar automation and scripting tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational best practices.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security-focused automation.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and platform health management.
- Incident response and production support experience.
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments with compliance requirements.
