(AWS + AI-Assisted Development + Platform Engineering)
Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS Expert) to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for modern, AI-powered applications.
This role requires deep expertise in AWS, CI/CD, containerization, and platform engineering, along with an understanding of AI-assisted development workflows. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an environment where development is accelerated using tools like Claude (Anthropic), Cursor AI, and spec-driven engineering practices.
You will play a key role in enabling teams to build, deploy, and scale production-grade applications efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure (AWS)
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Work with core AWS services:
- Compute: EC2, Lambda
- Storage: S3
- Databases: RDS, DynamoDB
- Networking: VPC, Load Balancers, API Gateway
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost.
2. CI/CD & Automation
• Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate AI-assisted development workflows into CI/CD (code generation, validation, testing).
• Enable faster and reliable releases with minimal manual intervention.
3. Containerization & Orchestration
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Work with orchestration tools (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes).
• Ensure efficient resource utilization and scaling.
4. Platform Engineering & Developer Experience
• Build internal platforms and reusable infrastructure components.
• Enable developer self-service capabilities.
• Support teams working with .NET, React, and AI-based systems.
• Improve developer productivity using automation and tooling.
5. Monitoring, Reliability & Security
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, etc.).
• Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance.
• Set up observability frameworks for debugging and optimization.
• Implement security best practices (IAM, encryption, compliance).
6. AI-Assisted & Spec-Driven DevOps
• Leverage tools like Claude (Anthropic) and Cursor AI for:
- Infrastructure automation
- Script generation
- Troubleshooting and optimization
• Work with spec-driven approaches for infrastructure provisioning (IaC).
• Support deployment and scaling of AI/LLM-based applications.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud platform.
• Hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Docker and containerization
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong understanding of:
- Networking, security, and cloud architecture
- Monitoring and observability
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor AI, etc.).
• Experience working in microservices-based architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based application deployments.
• Experience optimizing cloud cost and performance.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments.
• Understanding of agentic workflows and AI-driven systems.
