AWS | AI-Assisted Development | Platform Engineering
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer (AWS Expert) to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for modern, AI-powered applications.
This role requires deep expertise in AWS, CI/CD, containerization, and platform engineering, along with a strong understanding of AI-assisted development workflows. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an environment that accelerates software development through tools such as Claude (Anthropic), Cursor AI, and spec-driven engineering practices.
You will play a critical role in enabling teams to build, deploy, and scale production-grade applications efficiently, securely, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure (AWS)
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Work extensively with AWS services, including:
- Compute: EC2, Lambda
- Storage: S3
- Databases: RDS, DynamoDB
- Networking: VPC, Load Balancers, API Gateway
- Ensure infrastructure is highly available, scalable, and secure.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
CI/CD & Automation
- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Integrate AI-assisted development workflows into CI/CD pipelines, including:
- Code generation
- Validation
- Automated testing
- Enable rapid and reliable software releases with minimal manual intervention.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Work with orchestration platforms such as:
- ECS
- EKS
- Kubernetes
- Ensure efficient scaling and optimal resource utilization.
Platform Engineering & Developer Experience
- Build internal developer platforms and reusable infrastructure components.
- Enable self-service capabilities for development teams.
- Support teams working with:
- .NET
- React
- AI-powered applications
- Improve developer productivity through automation, tooling, and platform enhancements.
Monitoring, Reliability & Security
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch and related tools.
- Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance.
- Establish observability frameworks for troubleshooting and optimization.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including:
- IAM
- Encryption
- Compliance standards
AI-Assisted & Spec-Driven DevOps
- Utilize AI tools such as Claude (Anthropic) and Cursor AI for:
- Infrastructure automation
- Script generation
- Troubleshooting
- Performance optimization
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using spec-driven methodologies.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI/LLM-powered applications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with:
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- Other CI/CD tools
- Strong experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
- Terraform
- CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of:
- Networking
- Cloud security
- Cloud architecture
- Monitoring and observability
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor AI, or similar.
- Experience working within microservices-based architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based application deployments.
- Experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments.
- Understanding of agentic workflows and AI-driven systems.
