Senior Platform Reliability & DevOps Lead

Responsibilities

Drive engineering and operational improvements across multiple technology teams, focusing on reliability, delivery predictability, automation, and platform health.
Define and embed modern engineering practices including CI/CD standards, DevSecOps controls, SRE practices, observability, release readiness, and operational guardrails.
Establish and track engineering performance metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, MTTR, incident trends, and automation coverage.
Partner with engineering, platform, QA, security, product, and operations teams to improve system resilience, reduce manual work, and strengthen ownership across domains.
Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, translating strategic goals into practical improvement roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
Coach engineering teams on best practices in reliability, automation, quality engineering, incident management, and continuous delivery.
Support hands-on implementation or prototyping of tooling and automation where needed, including CI/CD, monitoring, service management, and operational platforms.

Requirement

15+ years of experience across software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or engineering excellence roles
Strong hands-on understanding of DevSecOps, SRE, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, automation, and observability
Proven experience improving engineering maturity, reliability, delivery speed, operational efficiency, and platform stability at scale
Familiarity with DORA metrics, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, release readiness, and operational health frameworks
Experience working across multiple engineering domains or complex enterprise technology environments
Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and observability platforms
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence engineering, security, QA, operations, and business teams without direct authority
Outcome-driven, pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable challenging existing ways of working using data and evidence
