Our client is looking for a Cloud Engineer III – Cloud Foundations

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to team direction
- Apply DevOps and Agile practices to design and deliver solutions
- Develop and implement automated systems using coding standards and best practices
- Identify and resolve technical challenges through automation and engineering solutions
- Review code to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD pipeline enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional IT experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (certification preferred)
- Strong exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and system optimization
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and Linux-based platforms
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CircleCI, etc.)
- Knowledge of security fundamentals including certificates, firewalls, authentication, and vulnerability management
- Comfortable working with both Linux and Windows environments
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD automation, GitOps practices, and version control systems
- Knowledge of site reliability engineering and infrastructure automation
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and enterprise IT ecosystems
- Exposure to unit testing and software development best practices
