Role Description The AWS Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on Amazon Web Services for client and internal projects. This full-time hybrid role is based in Trivandrum, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining cloud architectures, setting up infrastructure components, guiding development teams on cloud-native patterns, and ensuring integrations between systems are robust and efficient. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, creating technical design documents, optimizing performance and cost, and overseeing deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AWS environments. The AWS Architect will also contribute to best practices, security standards, and automation frameworks to improve reliability and delivery speed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments
- Strong Solution Architecture skills, including experience designing end-to-end cloud-native and hybrid solutions on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure design and management, including networking, security, compute, storage, and IaC (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Background in Software Development with the ability to guide engineering teams on cloud best practices and microservices or API-based architectures.
- Expertise in Integration and Architecture, including integrating AWS services with existing systems, APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Proficiency with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch) and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools to streamline deployments and operations.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional) are highly beneficial.
