Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a DevOps Engineer – Azure (3–4 Years). The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments. Daily responsibilities include managing Infrastructure as Code templates, administering Linux systems, and supporting CI pipelines to streamline software delivery. The role involves collaborating with development teams to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing performance. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to improving operational practices, documentation, and adherence to best practices in cloud, security, and DevOps methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills (e.g., ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar) for managing Azure resources programmatically.
- Experience in Software Development and Continuous Integration, including scripting or programming and working with CI tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Solid System Administration capabilities, with hands-on experience in managing Linux servers in cloud environments.
- 3–4 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, preferably with significant exposure to Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service) and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and identity/access management in cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed teams, with strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
