The Role
We are seeking a Platform Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support the design and operation of our cloud platform infrastructure. You will work on infrastructure tooling, automation, Kubernetes operations, and help enable engineering teams to deploy and manage services efficiently. This is a hands-on role focused on platform capabilities and developer experience.
What you would own
Kubernetes & Platform Operations
• Support EKS cluster operations and deployment processes
• Maintain and improve Helm charts and ArgoCD workflows
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
• Implement monitoring and alerting for platform health
Infrastructure Support
• Manage AWS resources (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
• Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and developer tooling
• Implement infrastructure automation and self-service capabilities
• Support cross-account S3 data transfers and access controls
Documentation & Enablement
• Create runbooks and operational procedures
• Document infrastructure architecture and deployment processes
• Help engineering teams with infrastructure questions and guidance
Cost & Optimization
• Monitor infrastructure spending and identify optimization opportunities
• Support cost analysis and resource right-sizing
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience
• Strong Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred)
• Solid AWS knowledge (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
• Hands-on Terraform or CloudFormation experience
• Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with multi-account or multi-environment setups
Preferred Qualifications
• ArgoCD or GitOps experience
• Infrastructure monitoring experience (CloudWatch, Prometheus)
• AWS multi-region experience
• GPU workload familiarity
