Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The role includes deploying infrastructure and platform environments tailored to project needs, as well as developing proof of architecture models to evaluate the feasibility, security, and performance of proposed solutions. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that the deployed systems meet organizational standards and operate efficiently within the cloud ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to meet operational requirements.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in cloud platform tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue.
- Good To Have Skills: Python (Programming Language), PySpark, AWS AI Services.
- Experience in designing and deploying scalable cloud data integration workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools to streamline cloud operations.
