About Lenia Health
We’re a fast-growing healthcare data services company focused on secure, intelligent data exchange. By simplifying interoperability and automating workflows, we help healthcare organizations connect systems, reduce friction and deliver better patient outcomes.
About the Role
We're hiring an AWS Infrastructure Engineer based in Hyderabad. This is a hands-on role focused on monitoring, managing and maintaining the AWS environment keeping systems stable, catching issues before they become incidents and resolving the ones that do.
The role offers increasing ownership over time, including some exposure to architecture-level decisions and optimization work. Since stakeholders and systems support US business hours, this role requires flexibility for on-call/rotational coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor AWS infrastructure continuously - compute, storage, networking and databases - using cloud-native and third-party monitoring tools
- Triage, investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and alerts within defined SLAs, escalating where appropriate with clear context
- Perform day-to-day administration: provisioning, scaling, patching, backups and routine maintenance of AWS resources
- Manage and respond to tickets via the ITSM/ticketing platform, following ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management processes
- Support change management - implement approved infra changes with proper documentation and rollback plans
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and contribute to long-term fixes
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks and SOPs
- Support security and compliance hygiene - access reviews, patching cadence, basic hardening checks
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including coverage aligned to US business hours when required
- Coordinate as needed during deployments, audits and incident bridges
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing and monitoring AWS infrastructure in a production environment
- Solid working knowledge of core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms and ITIL-based processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Comfortable working independently on L2-level issues, with the judgment to know when to escalate
- Strong troubleshooting mindset - methodical, calm under pressure, good at root-causing issues rather than just firefighting
- Clear communicator - comfortable writing incident updates and handover notes and working with global/US-based stakeholders
Good to Have
- Exposure to L3-level tasks - architecture reviews, performance optimization, automation/scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Basic scripting/automation experience to reduce manual, repetitive tasks
- Prior experience in a healthcare, fintech, or other compliance-sensitive industry
Certifications
- ITIL Foundation certification - highly regarded
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect – Associate, or equivalent) is a strong plus
