About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Solution Architect to design, build, and scale cloud-native infrastructure and enterprise-grade solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of architecture, DevOps automation, cloud engineering, and platform reliability expertise. Experience working in high-growth startups or investment banking environments is highly preferred, where scalability, security, performance, and operational excellence are critical
.The candidate will play a key role in defining technology architecture, implementing DevOps best practices, and enabling engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture
- Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and business stakeholders to drive architectural decisions.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, resilience, performance, security, and compliance.
DevOps & Platform Engineering
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Implement containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Establish observability practices including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
- Drive platform reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Architect and manage cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
- Design multi-region, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Implement cloud governance, security controls, and compliance standards.
Security & Compliance
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Implement identity and access management, secrets management, and security automation.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security reviews and risk assessments.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor engineering teams on DevOps and architecture best practices.
- Lead technical discussions and architectural decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology strategy with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related roles.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience designing distributed, microservices-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fast-paced startups or investment banking environments.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems.
- Knowledge of financial systems, trading platforms, or regulated environments.
- Exposure to multi-cloud architectures.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or Terraform Associate.
