We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments.
Job Summary
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across leading cloud platforms. You will work closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to ensure cloud environments are highly available, secure, and optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment.
- Monitor cloud resources, optimize performance, and manage costs.
- Configure networking, storage, compute, and identity management services.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application deployments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep templates.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, VPN, VPC, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and CDN.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or similar cloud certifications.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud migration projects.
