Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and application deployment automation. The role will focus on building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments, improving deployment velocity, and driving DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CLI.
- Manage AWS services including Kubernetes, EC2 (Windows/Linux), VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ECS, EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, and KMS.
- Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
CI/CD & Release Automation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Develop automated build, deployment, and release workflows.
- Manage branching strategies, build automation, and deployment processes.
- Integrate automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing into pipelines.
Application Build & Deployment
- Manage build and deployment processes for:
- Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET Core applications using MSBuild.
- Angular + Node.js applications.
- Dockerized applications.
- Create deployment automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell, Python, or Groovy.
- Manage IIS, App Pools, Apache, and Nginx environments.
Containers & Orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred), ECS, and container-based deployments.
- Manage container lifecycle, scaling, networking, and production deployments.
- Implement deployment strategies such as rolling updates and blue-green deployments.
Monitoring, Reliability & Security
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as:
- CloudWatch
- Prometheus / Grafana
- ELK Stack
- Datadog / New Relic
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, RCA, and reliability improvements.
- Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and security controls.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work closely with development, QA, security, and customer engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies using Jira and Confluence.
- Support release planning, environment management, and production readiness activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong AWS hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Expert knowledge of:
- Terraform (primary)
- Kubernetes, Helm charts, manifest files, scaling policies
- AWS CloudFormation
- AWS CLI automation
- Strong experience with:
- Jenkins / GitLab CI/CD
- Docker
- Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred)
- ECS / Fargate
- Strong Linux/Windows administration and networking knowledge.
- Experience with:
- VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Load Balancers
- IAM roles/policies
- Cloud security best practices
- Hands on strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and customer-facing teams.
Preferred Skills / Good to Have
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Experience with:
- Zero-downtime deployments
- Blue-green deployments

- Service mesh technologies
- Database knowledge:
- AWS RDS SQL Server/MySQL
- Aurora MySQL
