About The Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Foundation team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, automating deployments, and supporting cloud networking initiatives across multiple AWS accounts. You will collaborate closely with US-based stakeholders to define cloud architecture, security strategies, and technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud foundation services.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Boto3 to provision and manage AWS resources.
- Configure and manage Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Support cloud networking initiatives, including multi-account AWS environments and cloud foundation setup.
- Implement cloud security controls, including Lacework deployment and security monitoring.
- Collaborate with US-based customers to define cloud architecture, networking, and security solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and status discussions.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud environments.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of IT experience with strong expertise in AWS and DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Python programming with Boto3.
- Experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking and multi-account architecture.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lacework or similar cloud security platforms.
- Knowledge of AWS Organizations, IAM, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, and networking concepts.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Solutions Architect certifications are an added advantage.
