DevOps Engineer, Junior

The role
We ship government and enterprise software on AWS. You'll own the pipeline that gets code from a developer's laptop to production — without breaking anything on the way.
This isn't a ticket-queue job. You'll touch CI/CD, containers, and cloud infrastructure across live client engagements from day one.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
- Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments across environments
- Provision and monitor AWS infrastructure — EC2, ECS, S3, CloudFront
- Debug production issues under real deadlines, not simulated ones
- Automate the manual steps nobody else wants to do
- Document systems clearly enough that someone else can run them without you
What you need
- 0–2 years experience, or a strong personal project history that proves you can ship
- Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and at least one scripting language
- Understanding of how containers and cloud infrastructure fit together
- Comfort reading logs, tracing failures, and fixing root causes — not symptoms
What earns you extra points
- Hands-on time with Docker, AWS, or GitHub Actions
- Exposure to Node.js or Next.js environments
- A GitHub profile with real commits, not tutorials
