Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer/Lead to architect and manage our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and security posture. You will work primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to AWS, Azure, and Web3 technologies. This role is critical to ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on GCP.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and automated deployments.
- Define and enforce system architecture standards, access control policies, and WAF rules.
- Monitor system health using modern observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Ensure robust cybersecurity practices, including secrets management, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with blockchain and backend teams to support decentralized infrastructure needs.
- Manage Git branching strategies, version control workflows, and release processes.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem documentation.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers/vendors and promote a culture of automation and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Functions, GKE, etc.).
- Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, networking, and access management.
- Hands-on experience with WAF configuration, firewall rules, and security hardening.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
- Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Exposure to Web3 infrastructure, blockchain nodes, and decentralized storage.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and tooling.
Good to Have Skill Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of blockchain infrastructure (Ethereum, Hyperledger, IPFS, etc.).
- Understanding of cryptographic protocols, secure enclave technologies, or zero-knowledge proofs.
- Familiarity with government-grade compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
