DevOps Engineer
Dezerv builds investing infrastructure for high-net-worth and affluent Indian investors - ₹17,000+ crores of assets, backed by Premji Invest, Accel, Elevation, and Matrix. That scale means the infra problems here are real, not hypothetical: zero-downtime deploys because a rebalancing job can't fail silently, SEBI-grade audit trails baked into the pipeline, and a platform that has to scale smoothly as AUM keeps climbing. There's still a lot of room to shape how this gets built - good ground for someone who wants to own decisions, not just execute someone else's blueprint.
About the Role
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with 3-4 years of core DevOps experience to own our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and observability stack.
What You'll Do
- Design and run our AWS infrastructure - EKS, ECR, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, CloudFront
- Own our Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration end to end
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Workflows or Jenkins/GitOps)
- Write and maintain Terraform modules - infra-as-code, not manual config
- Set up and run observability using the LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir)
- Build the automation and internal tooling that gets manual ops work off everyone's plate
- Keep security, compliance, and disaster recovery tight - not an afterthought
- Work closely with engineering on performance, scalability, and reliability
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-4 years of core DevOps experience
- At least half your career spent hands-on with Kubernetes
- Solid AWS chops - EKS, ECR, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, CloudFront
- Real Terraform experience - you can write modules, not just apply them
- Comfortable scripting in shell/Python
- GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions/Workflows or Jenkins
- Working knowledge of Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir (or similar tools)
- Strong grasp of networking in cloud environments
- You can explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical folks in a simple way
Nice to Have
- AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect)
- Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog experience
- Some database admin exposure (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL)
- You've actually used agentic AI tools in your DevOps workflow, not just heard of them
