About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and continuously improve our AWS platform and CI/CD pipelines. You'll play a key role in enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality software quickly, securely, and reliably.
Working closely with Software Engineers, QA, and Product teams, you'll own the cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling that underpin our platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems through automation, improving developer experience, and building scalable cloud infrastructure.
As the platform grows, you'll have the opportunity to influence engineering standards, shape platform architecture, and progress into a senior Platform Engineering role.
What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable software delivery.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes.
- Ensure development, test, and production environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
- Work with engineering and QA teams to integrate automated testing into delivery pipelines.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and access controls.
- Monitor platform health through logging, alerting, and observability tooling.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues, supporting incident response and continuous improvement.
- Support development teams with deployments, cloud infrastructure, and operational challenges.
- Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
What You'll Bring
Essential
- 3-5 years' experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience, including ECS, IAM, networking, storage, and managed database services.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or equivalent).
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar.
- Solid understanding of Git and modern development workflows.
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.
- Experience supporting production environments and resolving operational issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, QA, and product teams.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable
- Experience with Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-led environments (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms.
- AWS Associate certification (or currently working towards one).
You'll join a collaborative engineering team where automation, continuous improvement, and quality are valued. You'll have the freedom to make a real impact on how software is built and deployed while developing your skills with modern cloud technologies and helping shape the future of our platform.
This is a hybrid position paying up to 30LPA per annum.
