SKILLS REQUIRED
- 6–8+ years of experience in Pega Platform Administration, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering.
- Hands-on experience managing Pega Platform environments in AWS/private cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC), Admin Studio, and Pega platform monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Pega Deployment Manager, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Pega platform upgrades, patching, environment setup, node management, and database administration.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring Pega Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, UI Rules, and Decisioning Rules.
- Experience integrating Pega applications using REST, SOAP, MQ, and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Catalina logs, PegaRULES logs, Alert logs, and infrastructure-level issue resolution.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud infrastructure management.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with strong Pega Platform infrastructure expertise to support and manage enterprise Pega environments hosted within a private cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Pega administration, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, platform upgrades, and backend integrations, while ensuring platform stability, performance, and secure deployments.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Pega platform infrastructure within the client's private cloud environment, including environment setup, configuration, and node management.
- Monitor application health and platform performance using Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC) and Admin Studio.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues by analyzing Catalina, PegaRULES, and Alert logs.
- Drive CI/CD processes by managing automated deployments, ruleset migrations, and branch merges using Pega Deployment Manager or DevOps pipelines.
- Support Pega platform upgrades, patch installations, database administration, and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Develop and maintain Pega rules including Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, UI Rules, and Decisioning Rules.
- Design and implement secure backend integrations using REST, SOAP, MQ, and SQL.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing operational support for enterprise Pega applications.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of experience supporting Pega Platform infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud, private cloud, or on-premises Pega deployments.
- Experience with Pega Deployment Manager, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure automation preferred.
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA), Senior System Architect (CSSA), or AWS Certification is a plus.
