Senior Project Manager - Azure & GCP

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Azure and a foundational understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure technologies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects focused on Azure solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Utilize Azure tools and services to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management to ensure transparency and collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
- Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Support the integration of GCP solutions where applicable, ensuring a cohesive cloud strategy.
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture, deployment, and management of Azure services.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps) and/or GCP (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering cloud-based projects on time and within budget.
