Job Summary
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications on containerized platforms. The primary responsibility will be the installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our platform using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD tools.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Linux environments, container orchestration, deployment automation, scripting, and troubleshooting production or staging environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and deploy software platforms in customer and internal environments.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor platform health and ensure high availability of deployed applications.
Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.
Manage Kubernetes resources such as Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress.
Work closely with Development and QA teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and environment maintenance.
Create and maintain deployment documentation and standard operating procedures.
Support cloud or on-premises infrastructure as required.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 year of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
Experience in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
Good knowledge of Linux administration and Shell scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Working knowledge of Git version control.
Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, SSL certificates, and load balancing.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of Helm Charts.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
Understanding of container and Kubernetes security best practices.
